Breaking Pornography Addiction

In a recent poll of 1,000 respondents, 50 percent of Christian men and 20 percent of Christian women were found to be addicted to pornography. This means of the 1,200 attending Parkview's weekend services, as many as 420 are struggling with some form of pornography addiction. This is a staggering statistic to contemplate.

This link leads to a new and very good article by Dr. David Powlison of the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation. In the article Powlison lays out some very practical and spiritual thoughts regarding how to overcome an addiction to pornography.

Scott, man it was so good having you here in STL last week! I'm sure it was golden to get back to your kids.
These statistics on pornography are incredibly scary. The counseling program here at Covenant did a study a few years ago on campus and it was something like 80% of students were visiting (or had recently visited) porn sites. Incredible. It is steak laced with arsenic.
Take good care Scott. Look forward to seeing you in January! Tucker
