A few weeks ago in the grace series I taught at Parkview, I referenced the idea of the indicatives empowering the imperatives in the transforming work of God's grace. Just in case any of you thought I was out to lunch, this morning I just stumbled across this video on the Desiring God blog, which was made in preparation for this years national Desiring God conference. In it Sinclair Ferguson, one of the greatest living theologians, explains the importance of the indicatives and imperatives.
