Arts Kick-off

Thanks to the 100+ people who attended this years Arts Kick-off Luncheon in the Atrium on Sunday. Our timing could have been better than to host this on a big choir weekend but despite the scheduling challenge it was a rich time. I enjoyed fellowshipping with you all and meeting several new candidates for involvement in the ministry. I am so incredibly blessed to work with such a talented team of leaders and such skilled and devoted volunteers. Thanks for all you do. I am praying for a blessed and fruitful season of ministry together this year. For His Glory!

Thanks also to you for the comments you shared during the kick-off.

I was greatly encouraged to hear you share your passion and vision for worship and see the wide variety of folks that God has called to serve at the church.

It was interesting to touch base with people I worked with years back when I led at Parkview, as well as all the new (for me) faces.

I am excited to see where this next year takes Parkview.

Not sure I can share the same excitement for having seen my HUGE head on a giant projection screen, thought!! haha

Scott,
Just to let you know, I'm not going to be able to be back at rehearsal until after the holidays. I'm nearing the end of my pregnancy so things are sneaking up on me :)

Please keep me in the loop and I'll be back as soon as I can in 2007! Meanwhile I'll be praying for the arts ministry and will be enjoying all the beautiful sounds and sites as part of the congregation!

Jim-

I'm glad you were able to attend the luncheon with your family. It has been great getting you involved and I look forward to more in the future.

Jen-

Believe me, I know how pregnancy can take one out of the loop. I am so glad that you have been able to stay engaged up until now. Please let us know when the baby comes. Exciting days ahead!
