Swine Flu In Iowa

Two cases of the swine flu are now in Iowa. One of the suspected cases was recently in Coralville for a conference. The University of Iowa Hospital now has this web page up where they are posting regular updates regarding the spread of the H1N1 influenza virus in Iowa.

  2. Two good articles about the swine flu and what to be concerned about and what not, etc. (the second one is a little more on the radical side but some interesting thoughts. I actually used to see this doctor (Joe Mercola) back in Chicago.

  3. I had to erase and repost my comment - I keep mistyping it as the "swing flu" which you only get if you're a jazzer. *grin*

  4. John. I suppose the main point is that we shouldn't get overly concerned about this flu deal. The fact that it is something unique is probably what is generating the most hysteria. I suppose the fact that it is an animal strain also makes people feel especially nervous since the Avian Flu was such a big deal.
